In summary, after Judah is first attacked by the Babylonians, God warns them to repent from:

1) worshiping other gods

2) sacrificing the blood of the innocent

If they do not repent, they will suffer war, famine, and disease. Judah does not repent. 19 years later, Babylon returns.
