Yes, the battle is real, and it is here today! Many acknowledge this but with varying levels of understanding and acceptance. The events described in the Fear Not section and its sources present tangible evidence of this battle (be sure to visit it if you haven't).

Others wait for signs and events from the Book of Revelation before considering the need to (seriously) engage in spiritual warfare. I was there, comfortably waiting for such an event before I got serious, oblivious to the battles around me. Sadly, the enemy had me where he wanted me: on the sideline facing away and of very little use to my team.
