Interestingly, the sycamore tree that died protecting the church was eventually replaced by a cedar tree called The Tree of Hope. This cedar tree lived for only five years.

The bricks have fallen down, But we will rebuild with hewn stones; The sycamores are cut down, But we will replace them with cedars. -Isaiah 9:10

Unknowingly, America is repeating the same pattern found in Isaiah 9:10, just as Israel did thousands of years prior.
