Evidence Matters
In 1920 under the rule of Joseph Stalin, the Soviet Union becomes the first nation to legalize abortion. Iceland follows suite in 1935, and abortion later expands into western countries in the 1960s and 1970s. One hundred years after its first legalization, abortion remains a global top-20 debated issue.
Simultaneously in 1920, Massachusetts begins dismantling John Winthrop's Governor's Island
in order to construct the future Logan International Airport (recall from the 9/11 Exhibit this will be the very spot the attacks of 9/11 launch from 81 years later).
