April 2020: The traditional American Church he was attending closed its doors due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

June 8th, 2020: Author reads Ephesians 6:12. Despite his reading and studying this passage many times prior, the verse resonated like never before.

June 11th, 2020: Abruptly changing topics and without prompt, a family friend mentions Dr. Michael Heisser’s book The Unseen Realm. Two days later, the book was delivered to the author's home.

June13th – July 2020: Thanks to a rare benefit of the lockdown, the author spent many hours each day, for well over a month, combing through Dr. Heisser’s heterodox book. With a Bible on one side and a dictionary on the other, he meticulously tested Dr. Heiser’s arguments against the referenced biblical passages. At times, he nearly burned the book due to it conflicting with the main-line denominational teachings of his Christian upbringing. Far outside his comfort zone, something compelled him to continue. To his amazement, he could not use the Bible to refute the theological doctor’s points.

September 26th, 2020: Still reflecting on what he had studied in The Unseen Realm, the Lord next introduced him to Messianic Rabbi Jonathan Cahn through a live steam event on Facebook. Mildly attentive to the event, the author focused in after hearing the announcement “Now the keynote moment: a prophetic word to America. Jonathan Cahn." Upon hearing the word “prophetic,” the author’s neck hair stood – that activity was only for the Early Church, or so he then thought. Listening to the speech,Cahn preached from the book of Jeremiah and shared an excellent and applicable message for America. Cautiously, the author ordered Cahn’s book The Harbinger (published 2011).

October 2020: Like Dr. Heisser’s book, the author meticulously tested the facts Cahn shared in The Harbinger. Cahn’s book, focusing on the spiritual history and significance behind the September 11th attacks, felt more like fiction than reality. Nonetheless, intense researched proved Cahn's work accurate.

November 2020: Cahn published the sequel just as the author finished reading and testing the first. He ordered it immediately and began testing Cahn's latest work as soon as the book arrived. Just like the first, The Harbinger II proved true and contained even more astounding facts and correlations then the first, including the Covid-19 spiritual milestones previously discussed.

December 2020: The Lord leads the author to Psalm 91, which the author then prayed over him and his family. At this point, the author was convinced Covid-19 was a spiritual event and required a spiritual solution. Psalm 91 was the solution.

January 2021: The Lord continues the author’s journey with the 1961 research of Kurt Koch in his book Between Christ and Satan, which offered a German theologian’s many accounts of spiritual warfare. As one might expect, the research challenged the author’s theological understandings.

January 29th, 2020: Graduation Day at the Army’s Air Cavalry Leaders Course (ACLC). As the lead instructor of this unique and truly rigorous course, the author mastered the associated military doctrine and tactics taught within it. During the two-week course, outwardly the author remained apolitical and areligious; internally, his mind pondered the last seven months of research. His private prayers asked Lord, is all this real, or am I being deceived by some master plan of the enemy who wants to throw me off my theological foundation?

12 out of 15 students graduated from that class. After graduation, when the instructor hats came off and the cadre with the 12 graduates shared their final thoughts and celebrations, a student, who was a last-minute substitute to attend, delicately approached the author.

Mr. Instructor, may I speak with you?

Absolutely ma’am! What’cha got?!

I have a message for you she replied candidly.

Aware this wasn’t normal message and already struck by awe, the author pretended he didn’t understand her. Pulling down his mask, he responded excuse me?

Matching him, she also pulled down her mask and repeated I have a message for you.

OK… he replied slowly

All this knowledge of Army tactics and doctrine, that you’ve mastered and are teaching well- you’re meant to apply it in a different realm.

Somehow knowing what she meant, he clarified you’re talking the spiritual realm? As he said the word “spiritual”, he felt a unique sensation he can only describe as a moment of spontaneous combustion over the entirety of his external body. It wasn’t shock, surprise, or awe; it was a spiritual flame.

Yes she confirmed, then continued You have the gift of discernment, and I’m also supposed to tell you that what you’ve been researching, questions, looking for answers for- that is all true.

The precision of the message stunned the author. The words the graduate shared were so exact and there was no natural way she could have known them. Before he could reply, she led in a brief prayer, then departed with her group.

Departing that evening, the author spent the entire weekend reflecting on the occurrence. Unable to find any natural explanation, he resolved to test the spiritual fruits from the supernatural insight in order to determine its source. Returning to work Monday, he emailed the student and inquired. The ensuing weeks brought conversations that answered, from the Bible, many of the questions he compiled over the previous seven months, questions he never heard answered from a pulpit. Hearing his back story of the previous seven month journey, she was equally amazed. As conversations grew in number, they all pointed to the deeper understandings about the Truth of Christ Jesus.

March 13th, 2021: Long testimony short, the author experienced the freeing power of the cross the afternoon of Saturday, March 13th. Throughout the previous few weeks, the graduate led the author through a spiritual life survey covering both his life and those of his ancestors. Stepping far outside his comfort zone, the author shared the darkest secrets he had previously kept hidden. Contrary to previous Christian experiences, his confessions were not met with judgment, but with understanding and compassion. Then, modeled after Nehemiah 9:1-3 and James 5:16, a small group joined together over Zoom and spent four hours in prayer and worship. Sins were confessed, the forces of darkness renounced by name, healing prayers offered, and various words of prophetic encouragement received. This event truly changed the author’s life, including freedom from the addiction to pornography that had plagued him since his teenage years. Full testimony here.

August 2021: The DoD mandated every Soldier receive a Covid-19 vaccine. Prior to this date, receipt of the vaccine was voluntary. The author’s convictions remained strong: it was the Lord who would protect him and his taking a vaccine would be an insult to his Heavenly King.

The following year and a half proved more traumatic than three and a half years of combined combat time. A denied Religious Accommodation Request, Appeals, Freedom and Information Act requests, scores of hours spent on legal research, betrayals, sleepless nights, and prayer meetings were front and center in his life. Nearing 17 years of service, he petitioned a specific prayer one afternoon at a small lake on Fort Rucker: Lord, if I’m wrong in this, please have the Holy Spirit make that clear. I don’t know what I’ll do if I’m kicked out of the Army, but I know you love my family more than I do. I’d rather be poor and on the street with a clean conscience before you instead of wronging you for the comfort of a government paycheck. That prayer proved the most challenging, yet simultaneously, the most freeing. Committing his future to the Lord, the Army lost its ability to threaten him.

Again, long testimony short, the author fought to make it to his 20-year retirement date. Thankfully, the DoD’s mandate ended in January 2023, allowing him to reach 20 years of service. Without the guidance of the Lord, this would not have happened. Furthermore, despite his refusing the vaccine and the processing of his retirement packet, he was selected for promotion to CW5 later that year. In a full turning of the tables, the Army offered the author continued service at Ft. Rucker if he would withdraw his retirement request. Today, he remains active and earnestly seeks healing and restoration from the many harms committed over recent years.

September 2022: Cahn’s book Return of the Gods provided further insight to the spiritual battle occurring within America. Notably, he addresses the Stonewall Riots that opened a portal in America’s spiritual protection.

January 2023: Published in 2017, the author read Reversing Hermon by Dr. Heiser. Over two years of wondering about the significance behind September 11th, the Lord again answered him in an awesome way. Separate from Cahn’s work on September 11th, Heiser shares the accurate date of Jesus’ birth as interpreted through the Bible.

December 2024: The Author reads his fourth book by Cahn. Three of these books, The Harbinger II, Return of the Gods, and The Dragon’s Prophecy, all contained unique details related to his life 10 or more years prior. For personal reasons they won’t be shared, but the calculations of their being coincidental equate to roughly 1 in 60 trillion (again, all glory to the Heavenly King; He’s the only One who could arrange such occurrences).

July 4th, 2025: Thanks to a connection from another ACLC student the author met a few years prior, he found himself attending the 2025 Messiah Conference where Cahn was scheduled to speak the evening of July 5th. Changing his plans while walking across campus, the author was compelled to turn around and grab a late dinner. Entering the cafeteria, he thought he recognized someone at the salad bar. To his surprise, it was Jonathan Cahn. The author quickly received his food, then chose a table not far from where Cahn sat. As Cahn finished, the two met, and Cahn took the time to listen to the author’s testimony and the connections within his books. Cahn was surprised and at the end, closed the engagement with a prayer of blessing over the author and his family.

Today: The author remains active in His calling, working to share hope in a world full of chaos. He has a heart for Soldiers and wishes to see full restoration throughout the ranks. The Truth of God’s Eternal Kingdom has manifested and proved true many times over for the author. No longer does he solely rely on apologetics, human wisdom, or denominational religion for his faith, his faith is fortified through a personal, experiential, and thriving relationship with the Heavenly King, Savior, and Holy Spirit (see 1 Corinthians 2:4-5). He wants others to experience the same.
